November 12th, 2008 No comments

Hi there, From London to Northumberland (Newcastle) is about 3 hours by train. The ticket price is about 100 PGB if you buy it on the day of leaving.
But if you buy it before, it may be cheaper. Also, it’s cheaper when you use Rail Card by 30%, hope that helps.

What’s Better, The Beach Or The Mountains, And Why?

November 12th, 2008 No comments

The beach its more romantic and its cooler. You could do more such as go swimming, boating, tubing, get a tan, fishing or just show off you looks if your single you could look around and see if there anyone you would like to meet or look at..If you wanted to bring the family it could be a fun thing for them to a your family could spend time together ,more relaxing…

The Mountains it would keep you in shape but the other side of it to think about is you’ll be sweating and hot and very sore…..plus cold….

There both great places but I think the best is the beach….

Is It Difficult To Live In Thailand Without Knowing Thai Language…

November 12th, 2008 No comments

The word difficult is for those who think it’s difficult. To live in Thailand without knowing the Thai language cannot be attributed to difficult as thousands if not millions are already living there without any such problem.

As the world inch towards globalization, so does Thailand and the impact of it can be seen easily with Thais making their way to English schools to learn English. With billboards and shopping malls all emphasizing English, it is more than what a foreigner can ask for.

However, the case described above is only restricted to places such as Bangkok and other tourist attractions such as Phuket, Chang mai and Pattaya. If you are required to live in provinces like Petchaburi, or Ratchaburi, Thai language may become a hurdle between living and enjoying life in Thailand. However, not knowing the language can never be considered as living in Thailand difficult.

For kids, there are international schools available which are thoroughly in English and provide either the British or the American standard. In either case, the standards are high and provide the best available resources for a child to prosper in.

All said and done, learning Thai language can bring you a whole lot of nice experience. By learning Thai language, you can enjoy Thailand to its limits. Whether working or going for a ride to Phuket Island, at every step, the Thai language will help you to obtain what you wish for and may be a bit more extra.

I Am Interested In Visiting Koh Chang But Am Worried There Won鈥檛…

November 12th, 2008 No comments

Whilst Koh Chang is mainly made up of rainforests, National Park and waterfalls, there are also other things to do. There are many luxurious resorts situated throughout the island, and there are also plenty of restaurants to dine in. It is certainly a place of beauty and that is mainly what keeps people coming back, but in the more built up areas of Koh Chang, you will find plenty of nightlife and entertainment to keep you busy.

There are also boat trips which tend to be quite popular as they take you around the various different islands of Koh Chang. The boat trips truly are worth doing if you love exploring. Children especially tend to like exploring so this will be a family activity you can do together. Overall years ago Koh Chang wasn’t as popular as it is today and it certainly wasn’t as entertaining. However, over time more resorts have been added as well as luxury hotels, and it is quickly becoming a really nice place to go.
