If you have a QWERTY keyboard, that is a keyboard where the first six keys on top row of letters from left to right are labelled “Q W E R T Y”, then if you follow that line of keys to the end, the last letter key in that row should be “P”. The key to the above right of this should have a longer dash above a shorter dash. The longer dash at the top represents the underscore and the shorter dash underneath represents the hyphen. You type in the underscore by holding the shift key (above the Ctrl key to the bottom left of the keyboard) while depressing the hyphen/underscore key.
