can we do wons that dont involve checkouts?
like the worlds supply of old women suddenly surround you when you start to do 50% reductions…
Ha, yes. The scavengers whose trolley's consist of nothing but items on that days date, crowding you and sticking them in your face whilst you're trying to do final reductions on your own stuff first.
Also when you're doing reductions and someone slyly hands you something that's not actually out of date, then gives you lip when you say you can't reduce it. You're not fooling me love!
Oh oh oh, another. WHY WHY WHY do they put all the berries (blueberries are the worst culprits) in THE crappest little containers, with lids that randomly fly off just as they're being picked up?!? You can guarantee that everyday you'll end up wasting or slipping over several boxes because the lid's come off and the contents have gone everywhere.
Also no2. The compactor. It's so crap! It takes just one badly thrown bag to block it, absolutely redefines the definition of 'unpleasant smell' and for a contraption that's supposed to get rid of rubbish has the shallowest slope ever. Luckily I have never had to climb in at the bottom to unblock it, but many others haven't been so lucky!
In our store there is a Chinese woman who comes in just to get the reductions for the restaurant she owns in town. She even picks things up & walks round the store with them until she knows it is time for them to be reduced. She also pesters the produce staff something cronic to get things reduced. Vultures have nothing on this woman!
why have coleslaw and potato salad starting coming in without lids, i presume the last 2 ive had sent in my dot com shopping and the couple i had to deliver customers today are not a few odd ones without lids [i dont work on the shopfloor so havent been able to check the ones on the shelf, they have the crappy bit of film on the top but no plastic lid so you cant reseal it.
yeah theyve come in to our store for the past few weeks like that as well i dunno weather its to do with savein the planet or just people being lazy
I've seen on ATC recently that they're apparently reviewing the containers for the berries. I agree they're a pain in the arse.
Yeah ours are like that too. It sucks. I keep meaning to actually look into it, especially since I keep promising customers I would after they complain. The packaging for coleslaw isn't that great either, used to be much better in the round tubs.
It just looks like theyve forgotten to put the lid's on! Naf
Have everyone else's coleslaw and dips moved around this week? The plans have them all over the place, really illogically arranged. So me and another chap just shuffled it all around so it was more sensible.
Then the boss busts us.
"Did you move the dips around?"
"…"
