Thought it could be cool if we could put together a list of ways to list yourself when travelling ID…

E.G. SAS in Denmark call 45 …….. or www.whatever.. what do you say? it could be a great tool for those of us who are still stupid enough to travel stand by..

Is it true that BA don't except any other airlines staff ticket? I heard that going from LHR they just point blank say no and very rarely will they accept you when you're trying to return back to the UK.

i have recently fown with BA to/from TLV and was accepted no poblems and i work for malaysia airlines.

i live on that flyzed site! flew SYD-NRT-LHR-MAN-LHR-BKK-SYD and had no problems! and was considered a heavy season!

As BA (non airport) staff I really don't think that's true. It pays to call BA in advance and list or use the web site mentioned above. That can never do any harm. There may be the odd occasion where a flight is so full of commercial pax that only listed BA staff will be allowed to standby as there is no hope for other airline staff, but please don't think that BA is that unfriendly at LHR or anywhere else.

As a Passenger Services DM for BA at LHR I can def confirm that we accept staff tickets from any airline that has a staff travel agreement with BA – thats most airlines in the world apart from a few obscure one's. What is true is that all staff travel passengers, whether BA or non-BA, have to list for a flight they are intending to travel on. The website is posted on an earlier note. If you are not listed then you will get a seat after all listed staff have got their's subject to space being available so it pays to have a listing Hope this helps! Cheers

every member airline has their own, so you´ll have to check with your staff travel department.. I only know the one for SAS employees..

Do you guys all have access to the actual status of your airline's flights (and I am not talking about amadeus forecasts or the like…. I mean actual booked seats!)?
