Certainly not. Some people are asexual and yet there is no sudden need to dispose of asexuality for the sake of humanity's future. Its a crappy argument to say the least and evolution does not favor it.

Fact of the matter: Homosexuality is a geneitcally inheireted mutation. It doesn't make them less of a person, just different. Henceforth, gays cant reproduce with each other, b/c they are the same gender. Unless lesibans are insemenated, or gays get a women to carry their baby, the " gay gene" cant pass on. The amount of homo's that due this is neglible, so is there is no real threat of our specics coming to an end. Check and Mate.

First of all, we have the ability to genetically reprogram skin cells and derive embryonic stem cells from them now, though the process needs to be perfected so that it doesn't lead to something like cancerous cells.

Secondly, experiments have been conducted that have successfully extracted sperm cells from male embryonic stem cells:

Eventually, according to some researchers, we will be able to reprogram MALE embryonic stem cells to mature into egg cells, and this could actually allow gay males to have children that are genetically their own. Obviously this is complimented with research into deriving sperm from female embryonic stem cells to allow, which could allow them to have children that are genetically their own.

In the context of the first process, all you would need then is a skin cell from each individual in the homosexual couple.

Of course, this would still require surrogate mothers, but you don't need to be straight to be a surrogate mother.

Actually, there has been some successful research on deriving eggs from male embryonic stem cells and sperm from female embryonic stem cells. Quite awhile ago actually:

But if everyone was hetero, the human race would overcrowd itself and we'd all be miserable: not enough space, food, etc. I mean, hell, we're already overcrowding when 10% of the population are gay and some straight people are infertile or don't reproduce.
