its got to be callie because of the "hasn't for some time" because izzie only recently had sex, and we know how slooooowwwwwwwwlly time goes in grey's some episodes are just seconds after the previous ended example the last 2 episodes. the only other women who have even had sex this season until lately are addison, meredith, callie, and christina… those are our options…

The "for awhile line" was intended for Cristina not Izzie and I mean "for awhile" that Cristina had just recently had Eptoic pregnancy, if she plans on getting preggers I don't think it will be til her and Burke are married and plan on having children
I really think it would be Izzie who gets pregnant, they were both pretty drunk and either one hardly remembered there lil "sexcapade",george has no intentions on telling Callie that he slept with Izzie, he's always had a thing for Izzie but never thought he had a chance but when Callie confronted him with the idea that Izzie is jealous and that Izzie wants George that brought the thought to mind that maybe, just maybe he had a chance. SOOOoo, I think She gets pregnant, tells George that she is and George ends up having to tell Callie about what happened, they get divorced and then George can finally be with Izzie….OH the suspense… I don't think Christina will be getting pregnant for awhile, because of her Etopic pregnancy, she required surgury and I think in the future she will have problems getting pregnant when they plan for a baby which possibly could put a dampen on their "future marriage"…it's hard to say…$100 bucks on Izzie though….to be continued….
oh thats an interesting theory, what if its one of the characters discoveringthey are infertal and NOT preggo… esp what if its izzie… and then she'd feel bad about putting her child up for adoption and maybe even seek her out, I never even thought of reading it that way…
i kno the timing might be off .. but wounldnt it make things interesting if it was addison and it was derecks lol . that would make things interesting .. lol . or if it was callie and it was McSteamy's lol .. oh the drama ..

I know someone mentioned Cristina as maybe not being able to get pregnant because the last time she got pregnant, she lost the baby. Well, what if Burke and Cristina get married but Cristina doesn't want kids? I mean, let's face it, I love Cristina and her sarcasm but she is not exactly very maternal. I remember during the last episode, Cristina had to amputate that man's foot and she just told him "We have to amputate your foot" RIGHT AFTER he got off the phone! Like seriously, she just said it so suddenly. Lol…The reason I mentioned the foot thing was just to show an example of how…insensitive she can be. It's okay though…I still love her! Lol :)

Maybe Izzie tries to find her because now she knows she can't have kids. Then if izzie found out she couldn't have kids it would make sense, because the "whole world hates izzie" theme that they (the writers) have been on for quite some time now….just a thought…ya know

I don't think its christina because Christina isn't a huge baby lover kinda girl, so it wouldn't completely bother her if she "couldn't" but it would hurt Burke.
I also don't think they will have her get pregnant, simply because they have already gone there, and grey's writers wouldn't do that.
Merideth is my best guess. With death comes new life>>> this could be the "acceptance" of her mother's death. Or something like that. Plus Derek woudl be an amazing Dad.
I definitely read that spoiler more as a character discovering she's unable to have kids than someone being preggers and not needing contraceptives…
the izzie theory was interesting, because then it could lead her to seek out her biological daughter that she gave up so long ago… it'll be an interesting thing to watch how it plays out…

i honestly think it might be meredith…not as exciting as izzie, but meredith's had the most consistent sex life and no other complications…
yeah I started this thread like right after I had woken up and the second time I read it I took it more as someone can't have kids…
altho now I've started all the "izzie is pregnant" foolishness again. Izzie is NOT going to be pregnant. if they make her preggo the show will officially of jumped the shark in my mind and I will be done here
I agree with you … Izzie cant be pregnant because then the show will turn into a daytime soap opera.
The people who could be pregnant would be Meredith and Callie only the drama with Callie would be who is the father? Granted she did have more sex with George after his father died but she also did have a hot night with McSteamy and the timing could work out that there's a better shot its his than George's. Plus that could tie into Addison leaving the show for a little bit because Mark has a family and then that would tie into George and Callie yelling at each other because they both slept with other people and then George and Izzie's drunken night would come out probably from Izzie instead of George though because anytime George asks Izzie to keep her mouth shut she can't do it.
Meredith she's has sex with one person consistently this season and maybe then Derek would stop worrying about her for a little bit and be excited to be a dad and that could also tie in with Addison leaving the show for a little bit because she's not sure if she can handle her ex-husband having a baby/she still may have feelings for him.
My guess is going to be Addison. Part of the plot with her spin off has to do with her goddaughter/ her best friend… and her best friend is a world-renowned fertility expert… seems like it would make sense to me…

I remember when this came out a while ago, and thinking that more than one would be true… we know the George/Izzie thing is true…
and the thing is, if you look at the others, they all might be half true…

what if Izzie's little girl is the little blonde headed girl that was with meredith during the three part arc where meredith drowned? it would seem to be a good age for her daughter and well look at that hair towhead all the way and so is Izzie… as for the pregnancy thing i saw on access hollywood that they were talking about Izzie being pregnant and wouldn't it be strange if it was Callie that couldn't have a child with george but Izzie did.. talk about resentment…
i don't think it could be cristina because she's not really the maternal type. seriously. out of all the women on the show, it's cristina of all people that can't babies. seriously. i'm pretty sure that won't be such a big loss. AND from her preganancy in season 1, she still would only have one severed fallopian tube.
SOOO maybe it's callie. but she slept with mark a looooong time ago, so i don't think it would be his (yes, i know time is kind of ambiguous sometimes on grey's, but i think more than enough time has passed since then that if it WAS mark's baby, she would know by now). maybe izzie thinks she is pregnant but after getting checked, addi will be like, your infertile. *dun dun dunn*
