LOOKING FOR A SINGER

Im looking for a lead singer for my rock band in Toronto Canada. Male or Female it doesn't matter. Some previous singing experience would be nice. If your interested please contact me or post here.

I'm also in the aforementioned rock band. Stylistically, we are still finding ourselves and as a result, are looking from singers from every rock genre (screamo/scene/emo excluded) and are open to metal singers as well. Contact us if you're up for it and be prepared to do a bit of experimentation.

I do operatic vocals. What I meant is that the vocal recording on my myspace sounds terrible because of the equipment.
would you still be interested if you couldnt play guitar in the group
I'll see, the only issue I have at the moment is whether my job is gunna switch me full-time. Cause if I get the full-time position I want, then I probably won't have much time on my hands. I'll have to get back to you in a few days, a week tops.

Originals and our sound is still being developed. For the most part it will be based off of classic rock/progressive rock and will subject to much experimentation.
hmm.. im somewhat interested.. LOL… i was in a few bands previously but i got a little aggravated with them cause they liked doing covers and i.. am a writer.. and — covers are all right.. but in small doses
Can you tell me what kind of stuff you write? Instruments you play? Experience? What genre(s) you would say you have the strongest background in? Or favourite artists?

lol i sing a lot of different styles… to.. relate it to SOMETHING.. i can pull off some aretha franklin styles, GNR, Zep… pulled off piece of my heart by joplin.. not AS good as she is cause she's a god when it comes to singing.. but i managed.. i have a quite a range.. i play flute hahahahha woot! and basic guitar im a lefty :o) took some vocal lessons.. not much but.. yeah
i write mostly lyrics relating to my own personal experiences.. id post them up but i got screwed over before some one stole my work.. sooooo sorry im a little skeptical
LOL sorry this took like 5 billion mssgs butttttttttttttttt…. i kept re reading your thing and realizing i missed a lot of questions that i had to go reanswer LOL.. as for fav artists.. i listen to all kinds of music.. everything from early 1920's blues recordings.. to jazz..to 60's folk (yes hippie music).. to classic rock.. to heavy metal.. im all over the place.. only thing is.. i cant pull of heavy metal.. im not a screamer..im a singer LOL
You play flute?!?! That's so sick! No word of a lie, that style would be picture perfect for what we're looking for. I know you said that you were only somewhat interested, but I really would like you to audition for us. That flute thing was probably the coolest thing you could have possibly typed. And I really really want to hear what you're capable of.

yes im here all the time and around just need advance notice cause i work and holidays are always craziness.. but if you tell me ahead of time i'll try to work around it
