I am also just a dabbler in the music realm, Choir is too mmuch fun for the majors to keep all to themselves :) however, Math is my major.

Music was my life back in high school, and now i'm working on fitting some kind of music related activity in with my science courses.
Surprisingly, a lot of people i know who do music as an extracurricular activity are science or engineering majors. go figure.

I have a BBA in Management and now I'm working on a Master's in Musicology. I started out as a music major with a business minor, then swapped it. but I've returned to my roots. I like to keep things interesting.
Accounting
I, too, am not a music major. Minor, but not a major. I'm actually a Botany/Micobiology major with a concentration in genetics. I go to a small school and it's really hard to even be a minor with the science classes because most science and music theory classes are only offered certain semesters because of the sequencing. Kinda sucks and I've had to jump through hoops to make it work, but in the end I am victorious. Whether or not I'll live through next semester is still to be determined (I'm also a German minor).

Psychology major here, though I would've jumped at the chance to get into some extra music group or that psychology of music class they're offering the semester after I graduate…
ooh. tough luck i guess.
Occupational Therapy major. thought about music therapy…but i think there's more of a demand for OT's than music therapists. plus, who wants to make a hobby a career? i enjoy music too much to make it my job.
definitely a math education major… for 4-8 grade… nothing to do with music… its just been my passion since i could walk
I'm a history and English double major, I just love music and might well die if I couldn't be in some kind of vocal ensemble! I've been considering a music minor, though.
Information Systems Major here. I'm mainly not a Music Major because I know I'd be driven crazy and end up hating what I love to do the most, and that wouldn't be good. It's funny, because I freak out about music stuff probably more often than IS stuff (like juries and memorizing and vocal training…)

Environmental Engineering representing, although I'm technically still a Natural Resources major. I'm just signed up for classes next semester that will put me on track for Environmental Engineering. In other words, I'm moving up from tree-hugger to eco-nerd.
I'm not currently in any musical group, but I play piano for fun whenever I can. :-) Mostly working on my sight-reading right now. I've come to realize that it doesn't matter what technical stunts 13 years of training makes you capable of…….if you can't sight-read on the spot, you're not going to do so well at those auditions.
Hillary, I totally know what you mean about musically-inclined scientists/ engineers. ;-)
Yeah, double major in biochemistry and biology. (Just so you know, the U of Iowa's biochem major only has a year of biology, which is why I can still take a biology major.) I'm also a chemistry minor, a religion studies minor, and, yes, a music minor. At least I'll be out in four years!

I'm not a music major either…I'm in physics. Although I do love music. I don't know what I'd do without marching band.

Music was the biggest aspect of my life in high school… I am forever grateful for it. I am pursueing music as a minor, though. Specifically… Black Music. :D
